A majority of the agents involved in the job scam of the Railway Recruitment Board busted by the CBI officials were either relatives or acquaintances of the Assistant Divisional Railway Manager of Raipur in Chhattisgarh, AK Jagannadham, hailing from Hyderabad. Among the eight persons arrested by the CBI on Friday, including Jagannadham, in connection with the scam was his close relative Kumara Swamy working as health assistant in Kurnool in Medical and Health department of the State Government.

The ADRM's son, Srujan from Malkajgiri of Hyderabad who was also arrested played a vital role in mobilizing job aspirants from collecting money from them, said the sources. His son collected Rs.3.5 lakhs from each aspirant from Chhattisgarh, Jarkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, the ADRM reportedly stuck to a deal with the RRB (Mumbai) officials secured a set of two question papers.
