  • Minister Sailajanath urged Manda Krishna Madiga to quit his fast-undo-death. He said that the Government is ready to send an all-party delegation to New Delhi for categorization of Scheduled Castes. When asked about Jagan, Sailajanath said that it is unfortunate that Jagan has left the party.
  • MRPS Leader Manda Krishna Madiga announced that they will step up their fight in regard to categorization of Scheduled castes. Speaking to the media, Krishna Madiga criticized the attitude of the Government in this issue. He called on Madigas in the state to start fast-undo-death’s at district and at mandal level in the state. He said that they will lead the protests and block the high ways day after tomorrow.
  • Manda Krishna Madiga expressed his frustration on the attitude of TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao. He alleged that the TRS President is not clear on his stand on the issue of categorization of the scheduled castes. Though the madigas expressed their support for a separate Telangana state, Krishna Maidga said it is unfortunate that KCR hasn’t even visited their camp to show his solidarity. He called on the Madigas not to attend the TRS planned ‘Maha Garjana’ event on December 9.
  • Labour Minister Danam Nagender opined that the Congress has nothing to lose even if Jagan’s floats his new party. Speaking to the media, Nagender said that if Jagan Mohan Reddy is the successor of Rajasekhar Reddy, Congress workers are successors to the Congress Party.
  • Former MLA Ambati Rambabu compared the Congress party to a sunken ship. Speaking to the media, he said that the race to formation of the government in the 2014 elections is between TDP’s N Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the state congress lacks leadership.
  • Governor ESL Narasimhan received his ‘Asara Card’ today. It is known that the Governor has inaugurated the scheme for the welfare of senior citizens in the state. Hyderabad Mayor Karthik Reddy and Commissioner Sameer Sharma met the Governor at Raj Bhavan to hand over the card.
  • The Andhra Pradesh High Court will soon become a high security zone. The court today opined that the high court premises should be secured in the same lines as Supreme Court of India. The court delivered its verdict on the September 14, 15, 16 attacks on the high court.
  • Junior Doctors at the Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad have threatened the Government that they will boycott their duties if the Superintendent and Men Contractors are not changed in the hospital. They said that they are frustrated with the attitude of the Superintendent in the hospital. The protests will begin at 9am in the morning tomorrow.

  • Maoists have blasted a cell phone tower belong to Airtel in R Kothagudem of Charla mandal today. The police arrived to the spot immediately after receiving the information.
