  • Christmas is being celebrated all across the state today. Churches all over the state are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Special prayers are being offered at the Saint Mary's church in Secunderabad and at the Mary temple in Vijayawada.
  • Chandrababu Naidu gets discharged from NIMS Hospital. TDP delegation meets President Pratibha Patil and hands over a plea seeking intervention from her to help the farmers in the state.
  • Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy says Government is committed to help farmers in the state.
  • Vivekananda Reddy meets Jagan Mohan Reddy at Idupulapaya.
  • TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu who has been on a hunger strike for the past eight days is likely to be discharged at 4 pm today. The doctors will check his health condition again at 2 pm. Meanwhile, the TDP senior leaders will meet at NTR Trust Bhavan to discuss their future course of action. The TDP leaders will meet the President Pratibha Patil at 5 pm today to submit a plea on the farmers' problems in the state.
