Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy enquires about incessent rains in the state via teleconference

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy held a teleconference with the officials and enquired about the incessant rains in the state. He directed the officials to appoint special officers to monitor the situation in Nellore, Prakasam and Guntur districts. Anantaramulu to Nellore, Karikala Valavan to Prakasam and Hiralal to Guntur have been appointed.

It is estimated that 81,000 hectares of crops were destroyed in the rains in Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts. Meanwhile, Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy told the media that he will take the permissions from the Centre to enable the Government to buy the color changed grains from Farmers.
