Jagan Mohan Reddy keeps controversies at bay

The Minister of Minority Welfare Mohd.Ahmedullah who is representing Kadapa Assembly Constituency did not turn up for Jagan Mohan Reddy's Odarpu Yatra in Pulivendula on Tuesday. Ahmedullah on Monday announced his resolve to take part in the yatra saying that he owed policy growth to former Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The MLAs A Amarnath Reddy, C Adinarayana Reddy, PM Kamalamma, K Srinivasulu and MLC YS Vivekananda Reddy participated in the Odarpu Yatra.

Jagan Mohan Reddy kept controversies at bay during his two day yatra that concluded at Idupulapaya on Tuesday night after he consoled 14 bereaved families. He remarked that people know all the developments since nine months and he won't speak on them and expressed indebtedness to the people for patronizing his father for three decades and him on now.

Apart from six MLAs of Kadapa district, MLC YS Vivekananda Reddy, former Minister Konda Surekha her husband and MLC Konda Murali and Congress MLC P Padmavathi participated in the yatra. Surekha expressed that the Congress high command would recognize Jagan's commitment and facilitate his 'Odarpu Yatra' in Telangana soon. Vivekananda Reddy described reports that the gap between Jagan and high command widened as figment of imagination and hoped the Party High Command would surely encourage Jagan to carry on the yatra and strengthen the Congress in the State.
