Moon sighted in Anantapur, Rahmatbad and Basavakalyan


The Muslim month of fasting has commenced with the sighting of Ramzan crescent. The first of fasting will be on Thursday, announced Moulana Qubool Pasha Shattari, president, Ruat-e-Hilal Committee.

The committee that met on Wednesday evening made the announcement on the basis of reports of of sighting of moon from Anatapur, Rahmatbad and Basavakalyan in Karnataka. The moon could not bee seen in Hyderabad because of the cloudy sky.
