Lok Satta Party to rout traditional parties

Jayaprakash Narayan terms both Congress and TDP are dangerous than terrorists

The Lok Satta Party president and MLA Jayaprakash Narayan has said his party would try its best to rout the traditional parties like Congress and Telugu Desam Party in the next five years with the support of the people. He reiterated his charges that both Congress and TDP were more dangerous than terrorists who brought votes with money and liquor.

Speaking at a press conference after a meeting of important workers of the party on Sunday, he said they would take up long term non violent agitation against two political parties in a decent way. He said his party did not want to stoop down to the level of other parties in using language to make any allegation or take up agitation in a violent way like rasta rokos or any other methods.

He said that the party had achieved many things in the last 13 years as an NGO and political party including fight against belt shops, powers to local bodies and so on. Responding to a question, he said that Lok Satta Party had spent Rs. 5 crores for total candidates in the State whereas other parties have spent double of this amount on one Assembly candidate.
