Demands extension of Arogyasri scheme to all schemes

Telugu Desam's Mahanadu has warned the Congress not to view its return to power as a clean chit given by people and ignore various scams during the term. A resolution adopted to this effect at the delegates' session on Wednesday against the corruption would continue in public interest. It called the functionaries to dedicate themselves for waging a fight.

The TDP party president N Chandrababu Naidu addressing the delegates that there was a need for a debate at the national level on the ruling party's corruption and asked the cadres to fight for protecting State's wealth. Speaking on a resolution on 'crisis in public health', he demanded the extension of Arogyasri scheme to cover all diseases including ordinary ailments and blamed the government for the outbreak of communicable diseases.
