As every thing is clear for Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy to take the reins of the State administration for the second term, the Cabinet meeting here on Tuesday evening to pass a resolution seeking dissolution of the Assembly, paving way for the constitution of the new Assembly. Though, the Cabinet meeting was scheduled to be held in the morning, it was postponed to evening as Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy had been invited by the AICC president Sonia Gandi to attend the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting being held in New Delhi and accordingly, he is leaving to New Delhi in the morning and scheduled to return by evening.

The Cabinet meeting will be followed by a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party of formally electing Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy electing as the CLP leader late in the evening in the presence of Congress Working Committee member and AP Affairs in charge Veerappa Moily and APCC president D Srinivas. The meeting will be preceded by an emergency meeting of the AP Congress Committee at Gandhi Bhavan.

According to sources, the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy will submit his resignation letter as well as letters on behalf of the Cabinet to the Governor, ND Tiwari on Wednesday morning before the latter invites the Congress to form the next government and to continue as care taker till then. Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy will be sworn in as Chief Minister on Wednesday evening at a public meeting at the LB Stadium. Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao and some ministers are making arrangements with the help of civic and police authorities for the sown in ceremony. Election Commission is making arrangements to install the 294 MLAs who won in the elections, CEO IV Subba Rao will formally notify the list of th candidates on Tuesday after getting assent from the Governor and the gazette will be sent to the Legislature Secretary who will make arrangements to facilitate the elected candidates to take oath as MLAs.
