APCC president to submit a report to the Chief Minister on nominated posts

Says YSR comments on separate T rightly stated

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President D Srinivas said that he would submit a report to the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy recommending candidates who could be given nominated posts in recognition of their contribution to the victory of the party in the elections. In an informal chat with media persons, he intended to make a general observation about candidates who worked for the success of the Congress.

Srinivas added that it was quite possible that all of them might not get the posts if caste considerations were to be taken into account. On his pre election promise he said, he will recommend names on merit. Leaders who sacrificed tickets to contest elections would also kept in mind.

Srinivas found nothing wrong in the Chief Minister's statement on separate Telangana made at Bethlehem as the latter had rightly stated that the Government would address the issue after solving related problems. He denied getting any request from K Srisailam Goud, Congress rebel who won from Qutbullapur seeking re-admission into the party.
