Five students Kerala students accuse him of sexual harassment

On Saturday, five students of the nursing college lodged a written complaint to the Home Minister, P Sabitha Indra Reddy saying that the TDP MLA TV Rama Rao indeed have made attempts to outrage their modesty. The MLA is the Chairman and MD of Spruha College of Nursing, Nidadavole in which the five girls are pursuing B.Sc. Nursing course who hails from Kerala. They submitted a detailed complaint that was also signed by their parents some of whom accompained them by the Minister. They were led by Shibu Fchacko of Kerala based JK Associates, the agency helped them to get admission in to the college.

At the Secretariat, the students rushed to the Minister's chamber from their car to avoid the batter of television and still photographers. Two of the students broke down in the Minister's presence while narrating how the MLA made overtures to them in the college hostel. The Minister assured them that she would refer their complaint to the CID that is probing the case.

The MLA in question speaking to media in Yashoda Hospital where he is admitted that the charges of sexual harassment made against him by the students were part of a political conspiracy hatched by the ruling party. He claimed that the students were forced by the Congress leaders to lodge a complaint. He alleged that there is a threat to his life and asserted that he was prepare to face any consequences. It may be noted that the cell phones of the students were taken away and they were transported later to Nellore en route to their native places. The MLA's son followed with his followers but Fchacko brought them back from Kerala said the students.
