If you are getting hooked to the television to sports channels watching the FIFA World Cup Foodball Germany 2006, you might be missing some real action right in your hometown. Tarnaka Club has struggled hard and their efforts brought them victory when they beat Rainbow Club 6-5 in the Sachdev Sports Cup Football Tournament. The football matches are being held at the Trimulgherry Village Grounds. Both teams showed good sporting spirit to end up goal-less in the stipulated time leading to tie-breaker.

In another match, the VV Nagar team beat Loyala Academy to register a comfortable 3-0 win. Goals by Pramod and Chandrasekhar in the first half and another goal by Srikanth in the second half made the win easy for VV Nagar.
