Fees at University college would not be at Rs. 10,000

The High Empowered Committee comprising retired judges on Thursday decided to recommend the hike in the fee of various engineering colleges marginally. The Committee that met at the office of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) decided to to refer the issue to State Election Commission (SEC) before making it a public in view of model code of conduct.
Sources reveal that the hike in fee in university colleges from Rs. 8000 to 10,000 and from 22,000 to 27,000 for convenor quota seats in private colleges.
