Five officials suspended for enrolling fake voters

The State Election Commission (SEC) following a complaint, the State Government cracked the whip against five officials including a Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) and placed them under suspension for enrolling ineligible persons in voters list in Guntur district.

A complaint was lodged with the SEC by Sarpanch and Upasarpanch of Solasa village. The Narasaraopet RDO M.Raghavarao conducted an inquiry and submitted a report go the SEC.
