The HSBC has plans to expand its business in the State resulting to generate an additional 3000 jobs by the year 2008.
Two of HSBC 's six facilities in South Asia are located in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad with an employee strength of 7000 professionals. According to Chief Operating Officer, Global Resourcing, South Asia, Malcolm Wagget said that the HSBC has also set up its software development centre in the city that may employ over 1500 software professionals
