East Godavari, June 10, 2006The East Godavari police busted a racket of fake currency and arrested six persons on Saturday and seized Rs.7.12 lakhs with the currency denominations of Rs.100 and Rs.500.They also seized two computers, two scanners, two printers and two CPUs and an Air conditioned Unit, four cell phones, printing paper of high quality in addition to chemicals.
The Superintendent of Police, B.Srinivasulu said in a press conference displayed the same. All the arrested are from Kakinada and surrounding areas. The SP said that the police personnel who nabbed the gang would be suitably rewarded.
