Tyson Fury convinced about taking heavyweight title from Klitschko

July 1, 2012 - London

Tyson Fury has said that his dream of winning a world heavyweight championship against reigning Ukrainian boxer champion Vitali Klitschko will happen, but only when he is 'ready'.

"I think that I could get a Klitschko brother now, but that is not part of the plan and when I get my chance I want to win," Daily Mirror quoted Fury, as saying.

"I'm not in the boxing business to make up the numbers and just be another loser on the Klitschkos' record - when I get my chance I will win it and keep it," he added.

"I did a better job on Dereck Chisora than Vitali Klitschko did when they met for the world title fight, and I'm waiting for my chance when the time is right, he said.

Fury is unbeaten in 18 fights and this Saturday will fight experienced American Vinny Maddalone in Clevedon, Somerset, in what will be a tough test for a few furious rounds.I'm starting to feel like I'm ready for the title and I know that I will get my chance," claimed Fury, who has been training at different gyms in Holland and Belgium.

He added: "I keep hearing people claim that the heavyweight division is dead and I just want to let the world know that it is not - I'm here and I will bring it back to life."
