Tyson Fury backs Haye to win Upton Park bout

July 1, 2012 - London

Tyson Fury is backing David Haye to win in the battle of Upton Park.

Fury believes Haye needs all his patience and power to take care of 'Del Boy' in the Sun-backed bout on July 14, The Sun reports.

The 6ft 7in heavyweight has already beaten Dereck Chisora himself, and says Haye can do the same.

He said: "I see Haye winning on points. Chisora has a decent chance but it depends if Haye comes for a fight or not".

"That is not the strategy he needs to take into the ring," he said.

Confident Fury said that Haye has the power to knock out former world champion Haye, if they ever meet in the ring.

"As long as Haye comes to box and not go toe to toe, he will beat Chisora comfortably," he added.

Fury said that he is sure that Haye could beat both world champion Klitschko brothers Vitali and Wladimir if they had to fight.
