'Terrified' Natasha Giggs calls in cops after death threat on Twitter

February 2, 2012 - London

Natasha Giggs is living in fear after a stalker who vowed to become "Twitter's first killer" threatened to "rip" her.

The mum of two, who is football star Ryan Giggs' sister-in-law, called in the police after receiving death threats on the social networking site.

It comes days after she reported being followed by a man at a railway station as she made her way back from London to her home in Manchester following a TV appearance.

In a string of abusive messages to the 29-year-old and her pals, the computer sicko tore into her over her eight-year affair with her brother-in-law.

"It amazes me you thought u could get away with being a whore without punishment," the Daily Star quoted the stalker as tweeting.

He branded her "everything that's evil" and added chillingly that "the Devil put her here and I'll remove her!"

Natasha and her friends hit back, saying they were blocking his future Twitter messages.

"Just to tell u that yr punishment is coming and it will be severe! Your time is up c***!! u will feel pain! u love all the attention from yr fans; well enjoy it becoz its almost over!!!

"I can't wait to see the pain and fear in yr eyes Natasha Giggs.

"I am Twitter's first killer Tweeter!" the twisted fiend tweeted.

Greater Manchester Police messaged her directly urging her to make a formal complaint.

"Natasha Giggs. Hi, several people have Tweeted us saying you've had threatening Tweets. We recommend u report it on 101 or 999 if emergency," the force tweeted.

However, even that didn't stop her tormentor, who went on "I will be seeing u! im gonna rip u c***!''

The sick troll went on to threaten Natasha's friends.

"Do yourself a favour, stay away from Natasha over the next few weeks!! u've been warned!!!" he tweeted.

The model also continued to tweet back.

"WTF is this for real?? Little disturbed at that. There are some seriously mentally deranged smackrats on Twitter," she tweeted.

Even the police were trying to trace the culprit, who used the screen name "Jersey Justin", on Wednesday night.

There is no suggestion that the stalker has any connection with her family, or is in any way linked to past romances.

"She is terrified. She has absolutely no idea who this could be. It is so sinister,' Natasha's spokesman said.
