Swann wants big money in IPL

January 22, 2012 - Dubai

England spinner Graeme Swann wants top dollar to participate in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL).

Swann is the only overseas player present in the 400,000-dollar band for the IPL auction scheduled to take place on February 4, The Mirror reports.

If bought by any of the IPL franchise, Swann would be joined by fellow English cricketers like James Anderson, Matt Prior, Kevin Peterson, Luke Wright, Eoin Morgan and Paul Collingwood.

The English Cricket Board has limited English players for three weeks in the IPL between Test series in Sri Lanka and at home to West Indies.
