Petra Ecclestone takes trip to 99p store in red gown and tiara for charity

April 4, 2012 - London

Petra Ecclestone, who has joined a host of other stars in the 'Give Up Clothes for Good' campaign, posed in a glamorous red dress and tiara at the 99p store to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The campaign is a partnership between leading cancer charity, Cancer Research UK, and brands-for-less retailer TK Maxx, the Daily Mail reported.

The store is asking everyone in the UK to clear out their wardrobes to raise money for research into beating children's cancer.

The campaign has already raised 10 million pounds since it began in 2004 and aims to raise another 2.5 million pounds this year.

Donation bags are free from all TK Maxx stores but the chain stresses that any bag will do - from bin bags to supersize carrier bags.

In the campaign, the younger daughter of F1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone can be seen donning an red evening gown with a cut-out back, a diamond headpiece and long black gloves.

Her blonde hair cascades down her back as she pulls along a trundler with some of her designer clothes inside, down an isle in the 99p store.
