Peter Crouch performs robot dance at game show

March 27, 2012 - London

Peter Crouch did his famous robot dance again and showed off some serious karaoke skills while entertaining Freddie Flintoff and James Corden at a game show on Sunday night.

Strutting on to the stage, the Stoke City player grabbed hold of the mic and belted out his favourite ditty, the 1970s Jackson 5 classic 'Blame It On The Boogie'.

Not content with simply rocking the room, the 31-year-old striker also treated fans to a rare display of his trademark dance.

Flintoff, Corden and comedians Jack Whitehall and John Bishop clapped along with the Premier League ace during the recording of Sky 1's show 'A League Of Their Own' and were quick to get on the stage when he offered to teach them his android moves.

"Crouchy was brilliant. He's actually surprisingly talented. He completely brought the house down when he sang. By the time he whipped out the robot he had the crowd eating out of the palms of his hands," the Mirror quoted an onlooker as saying.

"The guys slapped him on the back after the recording telling him he was an absolute legend. He wasn't all that taken aback, telling them that he provides most of the entertainment at the club's Christmas parties."

Crouch said that he likes songs to which he could dance.

"I love 'Blame It On The Boogie'. And MC Hammer's 'U Can't Touch This' always goes down well. I tend to go for the karaoke tracks that allow me to incorporate some of my dance moves," he said.
