Man City's Yaya Toure keen on Barcelona return

May 10, 2012 - London

Manchester City midfielder has claimed that he wants to return to his former club Barcelona, days before their Premier League title deciding match against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

Toure confessed he wouldn't think twice before joining Barcelona if they try to get him back at Nou Camp, despite having three years left on his 220,000 pounds-a-week contract with City.

"I said two years ago that I would return. It has been the most important team for me. And if they call, you don't think twice. I love Barca," The Daily Express quoted Toure, as saying during an interview with a Spanish radio."In the press conference I did when I left, I said I would return. In life, you never know what will happen tomorrow. It has been the team of my life and I would like to finish my sporting career here. If I could return, it would be great," he added.

Toure's remarks will come as a stun to the City supporters just days after he spoke of his determination to help their club make history after scoring twice in the vital victory at Newcastle United.

Mancini regards him as crucial to their plans for taking over from Manchester United as the Premier League's dominant force as well as turning the club into Champions League contenders.
