Brooklyn Beckham shows love for basketball at Lakers game with dad

April 6, 2012 - London

Brooklyn Beckham showed that he is more of a basketball fan, as the 13-year-old was spotted thoroughly enjoying a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.

Joined by his footie star dad David, the young teenager could barely watch the game at times as he covered his face with his hands.

Wearing a khaki green T-shirt with dark jeans, Brooklyn appeared to be the only member of the audience who couldn't stay in his seat, the Daily Mail reported.

A well-known Lakers supporter, the eldest of the Beckham's boys showed his love for the team by wearing one of their caps.

His enthusiasm in the sport could mean he will consider a career in basketball rather than football like his father.

Brooklyn brought a male friend along to the game in the form of Gordon Ramsay's son Jack, and was spotted giving his father a high-five when the team scored.

At one point, the LA Galaxy star also jumped out of his seat and began applauding.

David, 36, showed off his famous body art in a grey short-sleeved T-shirt which he wore with his trademark beanie hat.
