I am not a track danger man: Hamilton

June 24, 2011 - London

Hitting back at Formula One legend Niki Lauda, Lewis Hamilton has said that he is not a track danger man.

Three-time former champ Lauda branded Hamilton 'mad', and warned he could kill someone after his two crashes in Canada.

"Niki can say what he likes. People love to take the opportunity to grab the headlines and I guess that is what Niki did," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.

"It doesn't necessarily bother me. There will be good stories that come out when you have a good weekend and bad stories when you have a bad one," he said.

"I don't feel I went over the top. The stewards didn't agree with Niki. My teammate Jenson Button didn't agree with him. My team didn't agree with him. I don't know many people who did agree with him," he added.

Hamilton vowed to stick to his attacking style of racing in Sunday's European Grand Prix.
