Jordan to quadruple his pay by joining Liverpool

June 9, 2011 - London

Jordan Henderson will quadruple his wages with a 20 million pound move to Liverpool from Sunderland.

The midfielder will now get 60,000 pounds a week as part of a four-year contract.

Henderson, 20, spent yesterday having a medical in a private hospital on Merseyside.

Kop striker David Ngog will move to Sunderland as part of the deal, The Sun reports.

The signing softens the blow for Kop boss Kenny Dalglish after he missed out on Blackburn's Phil Jones.
