Ahmad likely to continue as PCB's Chief Operating Officer

The Pakistan Cricket Board's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Subhan Ahmad is likely to continue in the post, as Chairman Zaka Asharaf and other members have expressed faith in him.

A source told The Nation the board has decided that Subhan would remain the COO, as he is an efficient, competent and skilled official.

Board members expressed their sympathies to the sentenced players' families in the spot-fixing case, and assured to provide the outstanding dues to their families, the source added.

The board also decided to appoint Brij Sajid as Co-ordination Wing Director for overseeing protocol, security, media and public relation departments.

Ashraf informed members that he would call on the Board of Control for Cricket in India Chief N Srinivasan to discuss plans for an Indo- Pak series.
