Aguero should replace Tevez, says Man City's Hart

July 19, 2011 - London

Joe Hart has urged Manchester City to replace Carlos Tevez with Sergio Aguero.

Aguero, the Atletico Madrid ace, is Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini's top target as he makes plans for life without his skipper Tevez, the Sun reports.

Hart says team-mate David Silva has convinced the City squad that £45million-rated Aguero is the man to step in.

England ace Hart said: "I watch a bit of Spanish football and the thing about him is he's only ever linked with the top teams. I've spoken to David Silva about him and he's really given him the nod of approval - that's good enough for me."

Hart accepts Tevez will be a tough act to follow after a goal-laden two-year stay.
