It seems Wayne Rooney is putting every effort to mend his relationship his mother-in-law after his cheating fiasco.

London, Oct 15 : It seems Wayne Rooney is putting every effort to mend his relationship his mother-in-law after his cheating fiasco.

The footballer ace took mother-in-law Colette out for shopping and looked fed-up as he carried the bags.

But any treats he bought her may be a well-deserved "thank-you", as pals say Colette helped save Wayne's marriage after furious dad Tony urged Coleen to ditch the star.

Wayne, 24, joined Colette on a tour of Manchester stores. And while he strode ahead in a Godfather T-shirt, it was clear she was calling the shots.

"Wayne will do anything to repair the damage he's caused. Coleen's parents treated him like their own son. He is mortified," the Sun quoted the source as saying.
