Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is expected to visit Major Dhyanchand stadium to watch the final match of Mens Hockey event to be played between India and world champion Australia here on Thursday.


New Delhi, Oct.13 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is expected to visit Major Dhyanchand stadium to watch the final match of Men's Hockey event to be played between India and world champion Australia here on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Indian hockey team won millions of hearts with its game.

India turned the tables against England with a superb show, as the team rallied from two goals down to beat England 5-4 in the penalty shoot-out and booked a berth in the final of the men's hockey tournament of the Commmonwealth Games.

India and England teams leveled 3-3 at the end of 70 minutes full-time and 15 minutes extra time.
