Smith tweets praise on Murali

Proteas skipper Graeme Smith has congratulated Muttiah Muralitharan for taking his 800th Test wicket in Galle on Thursday.

Cape Town (South Africa), July 23 : Proteas skipper Graeme Smith has congratulated Muttiah Muralitharan for taking his 800th Test wicket in Galle on Thursday.

According to Sports24, writing on his social networking Twitter site, Smith tweeted: Murali 800 test wickets!!!!brilliant.great test career and a really good man. Glad I don't need to face him in test cricket again:)

Muralitharan bagged his 800th Test scalp with his final delivery in Test cricket on day five of the first Test against India.

Muralitharan also has 515 ODI wickets to his name.
