London, Feb 5: England skipper John Terry had claimed in an interview that his favourite sportsman is Tiger Woods, after being embroiled in a sex scandal.
Speaking to Football Punk magazine last September, Terry, who has previously admitting cheating on wife Toni, also tried to portray himself as a devoted family man in the interview.
"I do get time to relax, too. I really enjoy playing golf and a bit of fishing. But most of all spending time with my family, my wife and two kids, and taking them to the park. I like a Saturday evening sitting in with the wife watching the X Factor and I also like Only Fools and Horses and Friends - a lot of comedy series," The Mirror quoted Terry, as saying.
The 29-year-old went on to speak of his love of being England captain - a position now in jeopardy.
"Even when I was a kid I was quite bossy. I used to organize my team-mates and try to help them along. That's something that managers have always picked up on. That's what a captain needs to be like," Terry said.
Terry faces a dramatic showdown over his future as England captain on Friday, when he meets manager Fabio Capello at Wembley to discuss issues related to his affair with ex-girlfriend of left-back Wayne Bridge, Vanessa Perroneel.
