The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would review the Governing Board membership of Javed Miandad and Intikhab Alam during its forthcoming meeting on June 5.

Lahore, Jun.4 : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would review the Governing Board membership of Javed Miandad and Intikhab Alam during its forthcoming meeting on June 5.

Sources privy to the PCB chairman, Ijaz Butt, said that though the meeting has been called primarily to discuss the future course of action after it was denied the hosting rights for the 2011 World Cup, the issue of membership of Miandad and Alam could also come up for discussions.

The PCB members would also discuss the restructuring of the board, under which it wants to sack about 250 employees, The Dawn reports.

Both Alam and Miandad are paid employees of the PCB, thus they are not eligible to remain members of the Governing Board.

While Alam has already tendered his resignation from the membership, it being anticipated that the board will also ask Miandad to follow suit.
