PCB asks Rana Naved to submit fresh copy of ICLs NOC

The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan to submit a new copy of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from the Indian Cricket League (ICL) regarding his termination of contract with the rebel league.

Lahore, Jun.4 : The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan to submit a new copy of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from the Indian Cricket League (ICL) regarding his termination of contract with the rebel league.

"The faxed copy which Rana Naved sent to the Board has a very poor print that was why the PCB has asked him for a new copy," The Nation quoted the PCB's Human Resources (HR) chief Wasim Bari, as saying.

Bari said that only four out of the 16 ICL players had submitted the NOC with the board till the May 31deadline.

"The PCB has given its decision on the two players (Mohammad Yousuf and Abdul Razzaq) and the decision on Imran Nazir and Naved will also be announced soon," he said.

The PCB has already declared middle order batsman Mohammad Yousuf and all-rounder Abdul Razzaq eligible for selection, after they terminated their respective contracts with the ICL.

Both Razzaq and Yousuf were part of the Pakistan team for the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup held in South Africa in 2007. They later were axed by the PCB for joining the ICL.
