London, June 15 : Former French football captain Zinedine Zidane is trying to convince Franck Ribery to snub Manchester United and join Real Madrid.
French legend Zidane is working as an adviser to Bernabeu president Florentino Perez and aims to help the Spanish giants capture Bayern Munich star Ribery for around 56 million pounds.adrid has already landed Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka for 136 million pounds and is also trying to bag striker David Villa from Valencia for 40 million pounds.
If they snap up all their targets it will take Madrid's spending to a whopping 232 million pounds.ormer Bleus midfield maestro Zidane confirmed: "I am in talks with Franck. He is a fantastic player who has his place here at Real Madrid.
"And playing in this team is a career opportunity which, to me, you do not refuse. It would be a nice opportunity for Franck. It is up to him."
