Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been sent back from London as he has no working visa.
London, Sept.4 : Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been sent back from London as he has no working visa.
He had reached London for playing cricket for the English county Surrey.
According to The News, he contracted to play in at least two of the remaining three matches available to the county to avoid almost certain relegation.
Although the Pakistan Cricket Board had given Akhtar a no objection certificate, British immigration officials sent him back to Pakistan as he had no working visa.
Akhtar has said that he would return to London on Saturday.
