X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has revealed that she is determined to let her husband, English footballer Ashley Cole, be a free spirit even after he cheated on her.
London, Sept 24 : 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole has revealed that she is determined to let her husband, English footballer Ashley Cole, be "a free spirit" even after he cheated on her.
The 'Girls Aloud' member says that she does not want to become a paranoid wife who keeps her husband under constant surveillance, and that she can give 27-year-old Ashley a second chance.
"People make mistakes, stuff happens. Ashley's a free spirit. I'm not his keeper," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"I believe in letting people live their lives and be free, so Ashley can have time with his friends when he wants, he can go out when he wants.
"I'm not Mrs Perfect, I've made mistakes, and if I'd never been given a second chance, God know where I'd be now," she said.
Cole, who admits to having been left emotionally scarred by Ashley's cheating, says that she stands by the vows she had taken on her wedding, and that after her hubby's affair nothing can hurt her anymore.
"I can't hurt any more than I've hurt, I can't cry anymore than I've cried," she stated.
"I've been to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, so one day I'm going to find my middle ground and be happy," she added.
