The Lahore High Court Chief Justice adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by the PCB against Shoaib Akhtar over non-payment of fine of Rs 70 lakh, to October 3.
Lahore, Sept 22 : The Lahore High Court Chief Justice adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by the PCB against Shoaib Akhtar over non-payment of fine of Rs 70 lakh, to October 3.
The PCB had submitted a petition in the court asking whether the pacer can represent Pakistan without paying the Rs 70 lakh fine imposed by the Appellate Tribunal, reported The News.
The Board's lawyer told the court that national squad was being finalized for National Twenty20 Championship and four-nation tournament to be played in Canada and pleaded before the court to explain further whether Shoiab could be included in the team.
The court, after issuing the notice to Shoaib Akhtar, adjourned the hearing till October 3, added the paper.
