Nancy DellOlio: I slapped Sven for his affair with Faria Alam

Nancy DellOlio has admitted that she slapped Sven Goran Eriksson when she learned he was having an affair with Football Association secretary Faria Alam. The Italian property lawyer, who had already endured the former England football coach having an affair with TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, said she reacted angrily to the ridiculous news about his relationship with Miss Alam.

London, Oct.13 : Nancy Dell'Olio has admitted that she slapped Sven Goran Eriksson when she learned he was having an affair with Football Association secretary Faria Alam. The Italian property lawyer, who had already endured the former England football coach having an affair with TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, said she reacted angrily to the "ridiculous" news about his relationship with Miss Alam.

Miss Dell'Olio laughed during a TV interview to be shown on BBC1 on Monday night when Piers Morgan, the former Daily Mirror editor, reminds her that Miss Alam had been having affairs both with Eriksson and FA chief Mark Palios.

"I mean it's still really ridiculous and a - very, very poor story. The truth was he'd been with this person, but again having sex and nothing else. And he was definitely very desperate. But this time I've been ask him (sic) to go," The Telegraph quoted Nancy, as saying.

Morgan asked: "This is when you hit him. Slapped him?"iss Dell'Olio replied: "Well, yes."

She also called Jonsson "stupid" for having been "scathing", as Morgan puts it, about her.

She said she went back to him after the second affair, when the Swede begged her to do so.

"I was still in love, and I know that he was in love with me."

Miss Dell'Olio also says Eriksson was "very generous" to her when they split up.
