London, Oct 13 : English singer Cheryl Cole earned herself a lot of praise for the work she did on the X Factor, while her hubby Ashley has earned himself the boos of spectators.
The 'Girls Aloud' member was very happy that all her acts were able to make it to the next stage of the ITV talent show in Wembley, which had about 11.2million viewers, the Sun reported.
Cheryl, 25, had chosen the perfect songs for her soloists Alexandra Burke, Diana Vickers and Laura White, and all three performed so well that they helped her earn a hat-trick.
But her hubby Ashley, who was on the opposite side of the road, did not fare so well during England's World Cup qualifier, as he committed an error, which earned Kazakhstan a goal and him the boos of the people.
Ashley, 27, who is Chelsea's fullback, had played a pass straight into the path of Zhambyl Kukeyev, who netted at Wembley Stadium.
He and his teammates ended up struggling in the game with the Kazakhs, scoring 5-1.
