Ronaldo said he wept when he realised they were trannies after he took them to his hotel room.
The AC Milan player - twice a World Cup winner with Brazil - added: "I made the stupidest mistake of my personal life. I cried a lot afterwards. I was incredibly ashamed."
"Now, I have to reconstruct everything. It's like a house knocked down by a hurricane. I have to build it all over again," he said
The Sun told last week how Ronaldo, 31, hired the hookers while in Rio de Janeiro for treatment on a knee injury.
Police were called after he realised they were trannies and refused to cough up 15,000 pound hush money.
Ronaldo could lose a fortune in endorsements after one of the three claimed: "He treated me with caresses and called me Princess."
It was also alleged he had sex with two of them and took drugs, both of which the player fiercely denies.
Ronaldo said girlfriend Bia Anthony forgave him. He added: "She swore at me but afterwards gave me support."
