Ballack believes Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Premier League champions United at Stamford Bridge last month indicates the Blues will dominate in Moscow.
Ballack argues that manager Avram Grant deserves to stay with the club next season.
"I've still got a thorn in my side over losing to Real Madrid with Bayer Leverkusen at Hampden Park back in 2002 and this is my chance of revenge In the competition.
