London, May 16 : In a bid to win his wife back, English footballer Ashley Cole is planning to attend Cheryl Cole's O2 gig.
The 'Girls Aloud' singer would be performing with her group at the O2.
And sources say that the 'Chelsea' star's gesture is having a positive effect on Cheryl.
"It's a big gesture ... it won't be long before she puts her wedding ring back on," the Mirror quoted an insider as saying.
Meanwhile, Cheryl believes that it will still take some time to recover from the two-timing ways of her husband, but said that she was there to support anyone having a hard time.
Describing herself as still being heartbroken over Ashley's affair with hairdresser Amy Walton, she said: "I felt like cracking up at times. But it's made me realise there are people a million times worse off than me."
