Freddie and KP will fetch a million dollars at IPL, says Dimi Mascarenhas

Dimitri Mascarenhas has tipped both Andrew Flintoff and Kevin Pietersen to become IPL million-dollar men.

London, May 10 : Dimitri Mascarenhas has tipped both Andrew Flintoff and Kevin Pietersen to become IPL million-dollar men.

Bowled over by the world's richest cricket competition, Mascarenhas has urged his English team mates to join him next year.

The Rajasthan Royals all-rounder believes stars Freddie and KP would command some of the highest pay packets in the Twenty20 tournament.

Mascarenhas said: "I've spoken to KP a few times and he obviously wants to play. He'd be getting serious cash if he came out here. You don't want to miss out on that sort of stuff when it's available, do you?

"He'd be huge out here and so would Flintoff. They're the two biggest names in England. If they had been part of the IPL auction, they would have been certainly right up there. I'm sure Fred would have got over a million. He's the best all-rounder in the world," The Sun quoted Mascarenhas, as saying.

"It's just a great experience to be in India. The IPL is definitely here to stay. I haven't played yet but to be on the sidelines watching Warney do his stuff was brilliant," he added.
