A court in Las Vegas has delayed the armed robbery and kidnapping trial of former American football star O. J. Simpson and two other co-accused until September 8 to give them more time to prepare their defence.
New York, March 8 : A court in Las Vegas has delayed the armed robbery and kidnapping trial of former American football star O. J. Simpson and two other co-accused until September 8 to give them more time to prepare their defence.
Simpson's lawyer Yale Galanter confirmed that District Court Judge Jackie Glass agreed to give them more time to prepare, the New York Post reported.
The former sportsman and his co-defendants - Charles Ehrlich and Clarence Stewart - are facing trial on charges of kidnapping and robbing two sports collectibles dealers peddling Simpson memorabilia at the Palace Station hotel in Las Vegas last September.
According to reports, the court has refused to separate Simpson's trial from that of his co-defendants.
