London, Mar.29 : Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is wanting to do her bit for the youth.
Cheryl met some youth workers recently as she travelled to the US to learn all about hip hop for ITV2 show Passions.
It seems to have rubbed off and she's had initial talks about opening a youth centre in her home town of Newcastle.
"I have spoken to people about it, getting somewhere in Newcastle, so instead of hanging around on the streets, kids would have somewhere to go. If and when I do it, I want to be quite hands-on. At the moment, I'm too busy with the tour and stuff," the Daily Record quoted her, as saying.
