Ranchi, Mar 12 : Indian One-Day International (ODI) skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has taken the first step towards realising his dream of nurturing young talented cricketers.
The Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has consented to Dhoni's request to launch a cricket academy for budding players from Jharkhand and Bihar.
Dhoni played for the state-run CCL as a senior secondary student."It will be basically for guys who can atleast represent the State in the Ranji Trophy. If one plays Ranji Trophy for a few seasons, one can earn enough money. So, it will be more like a job opportunity," Dhoni said.
