Arsenals Wenger accuses footballs big guns of bullying tactics

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has accused footballs big guns of bullying.

London, July 22 : Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has accused football's big guns of bullying.

Fearing that the game is heading for a meltdown with Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid under fire for tapping up players, Wenger said: "If you don't show respect to other clubs, I think that football is moving in the wrong way."

"You cannot come out like Ramon Calderon has done at Real Madrid with Manchester United and tell them you cannot stop a player leaving," The Sun further quoted him, as saying.

"You can destabilise any player in the world - that is irresponsible. Big clubs should set an example," he added.

United are furious at Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon for trying to lure Cristiano Ronaldo.

United have been accused of tapping up striker Dimitar Berbatov and Spurs yesterday submitted a dossier to the FA alleging a direct approach.

Liverpool also face a probe into their attempts to land Tottenham's Robbie Keane while Aston Villa are angry at their pursuit of Gareth Barry.

Wenger, also keeping an eye on Barcelona as they hunt Gunners striker Adebayor, added: "Big clubs should have values and vision and set an example."
