The PCB has reportedly called a meeting on July 24 to figure out the reasons behind the teams dismal performance in the just concluded Asia Cup in which it could reach the finals.
Karachi, July 19 : The PCB has reportedly called a meeting on July 24 to figure out the reasons behind the team's dismal performance in the just concluded Asia Cup in which it could reach the finals.
According to The News, the Board's International Cricket Committee will meet with Pakistan's captain Shoaib Malik, coach Geoff Lawson and manager Talat Ali to find out the reasons why Pakistan flopped miserably in the Asia Cup held on home soil.
The Committee will also meet the selection committee to discuss issues pertaining to the national team.
Also included in the agenda of the meeting is the case of Pakistan's Test discard Faisal Iqbal, who is facing a Board inquiry for playing in an unauthorised tournament in the US.
Besides, the Committee will also discuss several other issues ranging from domestic women's cricket to the national junior development programme. Mudassar Nazar, Director of the National Cricket Academy, will give a presentation on development projects taken up by the Board.
