Australian television anchor Kelly Landry has denied that she is romantically involved with former leg-spinner Shane Warne.
Melbourne, July 10 : Australian television anchor Kelly Landry has denied that she is romantically involved with former leg-spinner Shane Warne.
A report this week claimed Warne and the axed Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune blonde had struck up a close friendship after they met at a celebrity poker night last year.
Landry angrily rejected the claims yesterday. "There's absolutely no truth in that - it's bulls***," she said.
"Shane Warne talks to a girl and suddenly he's involved with her. It's frustrating for me. I'm about to start on Getaway and I don't want this kind of attention. It's unfair," The Australian quoted her, as saying.
A Channel 9 spokeswoman said the pair met while "working in the industry together" and that Landry's ex-boyfriend, Alistair Sutherland, was Warne's friend.
Landry and Sutherland broke up earlier this year.
Warne is in Las Vegas competing in the World Series of Poker.
